Dermatology is the branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail disorders. The skin is the largest and most visible organ of the body and it reflects the health of the body and acts as a barrier against injury. Aesthetic Dermatology includes the practice of keeping the skin youthful with the application of lasers, dermal fillers, or more simply procedures that encourage regeneration of one’s natural collagen for rejuvenation.
Theresa Setter
Theresa Setter is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who is nationally certified in the practice of Dermatology and is the founder and CEO of Revitalize! CNY, LLC Skin, Hair and Body Center. Revitalize! CNY offers a variety of procedures and products to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin for a naturally youthful appearance.
Theresa began her nursing career at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where she worked as an operating room nurse in cardiothoracic transplant and trauma surgery. In 2006, she graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from Thomas Jefferson University and began her career as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology.
Theresa now has more than 15 years of experience with the diagnosis and treatment of all skin diseases and providing preventative dermatologic care as well as fulfilling the aesthetic goals of her clients.
Theresa is an active member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State. She also serves as a faculty preceptor for Nurse Practitioners students of SUNY and LeMoyne.
Kiersten Turner
Kiersten, FNP-BC, is a Syracuse native and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who graduated in 2012 from SUNY Upstate Medical University with her Master of Science in Nursing, as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Health. Kiersten began her career as an Emergency Room NP, and through her desire to continue expanding her knowledge of various aspects in the field of medicine, she quickly developed a passion for learning new procedures and treatments.
For more than six years, Kiersten has specialized in aesthetics, including injectable fillers and neuromodulators. During this time, she found a true passion for the field of aesthetics and helping patients to achieve their own inner beauty. Kiersten has completed specialized training and certifications in PDO Threads, CoolSculpting, Microneedling accompanied with Radio Frequency and multiple cosmetic injectables such as Botox, Dysport, and fillers.
We are absolutely thrilled to have Kiersten as a part of our team at Revitalize CNY. She is a true asset to the patients of our practice, and her work speaks for itself.
Heather Kedenburg
Heather Kedenburg is our aesthetic RN with over 15 years of experience. Heather is passionate about skin care and takes pride in her thorough assessments and consultations. She takes time to not only learn about your skin but also to learn about you, your concerns, and your desired outcome.
When asked, Heather would tell you that what she loves most about working in aesthetics is the relationships that are cultivated and the reward that she appreciates as she helps our clients to overcome their aesthetic concerns and insecurities! “Everyone deserves to feel beautiful and confident on the inside and out!” From product consultations and Hydrafacials to micro needling and chemical peel treatments, Heather looks forward to helping you customize your own personal skin care and aesthetic treatment plan to achieve your goals!
Jenaye Broe
Jenaye Broe, MSN, FNP-C joined Revitalize! CNY in 2022. She completed her undergraduate studies through the dual degree partnership in nursing program at LeMoyne College and St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in Syracuse, NY. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Nursing through St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in 2014, and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing through LeMoyne College in 2015. She graduated summa cum laude in both of her graduating nursing classes.
Jenaye worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Crouse Hospital for 4 years before completing her Master’s of Science in Nursing with a minor in nursing education through SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse in 2018, where she graduated summa cum laude. Upon completion of her Master’s degree, Jenaye began her career in dermatology as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in general dermatology for patients across the lifespan, minor surgical procedures, and aesthetic procedures. She loves the science of medical dermatology, but also has a true passion for helping people look and feel their best through the art of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine, as they often go hand in hand.
Jenaye is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board (AANPCB). She is also a member of the Omicron At-large Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
